Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) Member

I recently joined the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. I figure that as a writer of diversity children’s books, that’s a group in which I should be a member. Notice I used the plural, books, ” writer of diversity children’s books.” I am in the process of publishing my second book. It should be on the market soon. The first book A Birthday Story is still available for purchase.

The Society has a website at http://www.scbwi.org. They will give you all of the information you need about who they are and membership.
